t Memo
Refer to “List of World Time Cities” (p.96) for cities that can
beselected as a h ometown or destination.
Select [F Hometown] in Step 3 to change the city and DST
settings for the hometown.
G appears in the control panel when [Time Setting]
isset to G.
Most of the functions set on this camera are saved even if the
camera is turned off. For the following function settings, you can
select whether to save the settings (T) or to return the settings
to their default values (S) when the camera is turned off.
Thedefault settings are S for Digital Filter and HDR Capture,
and T for other functions.
Set in [Memory] of the A4 menu.
t Memo
When [Reset] of the D3 menu is performed, all Memory
settings return to the default values.
You can protect images from being accidentally deleted.
u Caution
Even protected images are deleted if the inserted memory
card is formatted.
1Select Y in the playback mode palette.
The screen for selecting the unit for processing appears.
2Select [Select image(s)]
or[Select a folder]
andpress E.
3Select the image(s) or folder to protect.
Refer to Step 2 of “Deleting Selected Images” (p.62)
forhow to select the image(s) or a folder.
Proceed to Step 5 if [Select a folder] is selected.
4Press G.
The confirmation screen appears.
5Select [Protect] and press E.

To protect all images stored in the memory card, select
[Protect All Images] of the B1 menu.
