NICAM-programmer er opdelt i tre typer. NICAM Stereo, NICAM Mono og Bilingual (transmission på et andet sprog). Sammen med NICAM-programmer sendes altid en standardmonolyd, og du kan vælge den ønskede lyd ved at indstille NICAM til Fra eller Til.
