Using the ShowView Feature

Before presetting your HDD & DVD RECORDER.

Switch on both the television and your HDD & DVD RECORDER.

Check that the date and time are correct. Up to twelve programmes can be preset

1.With the unit in Stop mode, press the MENU button.

2.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Timer Record, then press the OK or button.

3.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select ShowView, then press the OK or button.

A message is displayed to allow you to enter the ShowView code.

4.Press the number buttons to enter the code of the programme that you want to record in your television magazine.

If you want to correct the ShowView code that you are entering:

-Press the button until the digit to be corrected is cleared.

-Enter the correct digit.

5.Press the OK button.

The information concerning the programme is displayed.

When using the ShowView function for the first time with stored stations, the programme number flashes. This one time, you must enter the PR number manually by pressing the ▲▼ buttons.

6.Press the RED(A) button if you do not want to use the default title name.

The rename screen is displayed.

Follow steps 4 and 5 of “Renaming (Labeling) a Title” on page 77.

7.If the programme and times are correct, press the OK button.

8.Turn the power off by pressing the STANDBY/ON button to activate the timer recording setting.

Refer to pages 73, 75 if you want to

-Check whether the timer Recording has set correctly or not.

-Cancel a preset recording.
