Editing the Disc Name

Follow these instructions to give a name to a disc.

1	With the unit in Stop mode, press the MENU
	button.
		DVD-Recorder				Title List
		DVD-RW(VR)
		Title List		Title List			√
		Playlist
		Disc Manager
		Programme
		Setup
		Copy
			MOVE	OK	RETURN	EXIT
2	Press the …† buttons to select Disc Manager							,
	then press the OK			or √ button.
		DVD-Recorder				Disc Manager
		DVD-RW(VR)
		Title List		Disc Name	:		√
		Playlist		Disc Protection	: Not Protected		√
		Disc M anager		Disc Format	: DVD-VR		√
		Programme		Disc Finalise			√
		Setup		Delete All Title Lists			√
		Copy
			MOVE	OK	RETURN	EXIT
3	Press the …† buttons to select Disc Name							, then press
	the OK or √ button.
	The Edit Name screen is displayed.
			DVD-Recorder			Rename
			DVD-RW(VR)

		Save
Back Space	Space	Delete	Clear
MOVE	OK		RETURN	EXIT

4	Enter the desired characters using the …† œ √
	buttons.
		DVD-Recorder				Rename
		DVD-RW(VR)
		Disc
					Save
			Back Space	Space	Delete Clear
		MOVE		OK	RETURN	EXIT

•This function is the same as the Rename

function in the renaming the title list. (See page 70)

•The maximum number of characters that can be entered is 31.

5	Press the …† œ √ buttons to select Save ,
	then press the OK button.
	A disc name is given to the disc.

	■	To edit the disc name, you need to clear
		disc protection in advance.
