Disturbo

I pixel interpretati male in un'immagine digitale che potrebbero apparire come mal collocati o pixel confusi e brillanti. Di solito c'è disturbo quando le foto vengono scattate con una sensibilità elevata o quando la sensibilità viene impostata in automatico in un luogo buio.

NTSC (National Television System Committee)

Uno standard di codifica colore video utilizzato soprattutto in Giappone Nord America, Filippine, Sud America, Corea del Sud e Taiwan.

Zoom ottico

Uno zoom generale che ingrandisce le immagini tramite un obiettivo senza deteriorarne la qualità.

PAL (Phase Alternate Line)

Uno standard di codifica colore video utilizzato in molti Paesi in Africa, Asia, Europa e Medio Oriente.

Qualità

L'espressione del tasso di compressione utilizzato in un'immagine digitale. Le immagini con miglior qualità hanno una compressione minore, che di solito comporta un file più grande.

RAW (Dati RAW da sensore)

I dati originali, non elaborati, raccolti direttamente dal sensore immagini della fotocamera. Bilanciamento del bianco, contrasto, saturazione, nitidezza e altri dati possono essere maipolati con un software di modifica prima di comprimere l'immagine in un formato file standard.

Risoluzione

Il numero di pixel in un'immagine digitale. Le immagini con risoluzione elevata contengono più pixel e normalmente mostrano più dettagli rispetto alle immagini con risoluzione minore.
