TCP window auto-tuning is provided in Windows Vista or Windows 7. Modifying TCP window-related registries is unnecessary in these operating systems.

1.On your PC screen, select Windows XP Start → Run → regedit → OK.

2.When the Registry Editor window pops up, go to the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/ SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Tcpip/ Parameters.

3.Create three new registry files in the table below.
