Using external songs as background music (Smart BGM II)
You can enjoy external songs by saving them into a memory card, as well as the sounds in Smart BGM Option of the camcorder.
To set external songs as background music
You should convert your songs to a compatible format using the Intelli- studio programme built in your camcorder to be recognised by the camcorder.

Connect the camcorder to a PC with the USB cable to run the

Click Browse on the Smart BGM screen to select the desired song.
Change the song’s name to be recognised by the camcorder, and then click Send Yes.
•The song is converted to the m4a file and transferred into the memory card in the camcorder.

When the transferring finishes, click OK.
•You can save up to 5 converted songs into the memory card in the camcorder.
The song saved into the memory card appears on the Smart BGM Option menu in video playback mode. page 98
