Before defrosting, if there are a lot of ice crystals on poultry

 

surface, you’d better rinse under cold water to remove ice

 

crystals and stand 5 to 10 min. at room temperature. Shield

 

the thinner parts like wings and ends with aluminum foil. Place

 

the chicken pieces first skin-side

down, whole chicken first

 

breast-side down in the middle of microwave-safe plate, and

 

then place the plate on top of the turntable in the center. Turn

 

over after half of defrosting time.

Guide for cooking meat in your microwave

Place meat on a microwave-safe roasting rack in a microwave-safe dish.

Start meat fat-side down. Use narrow strips of aluminium foil to shield any bone tips or thin meat areas.

Check the temperature in places before letting the meat stand the recommended time.

The following temperatures are removal temperatures. The temperature of the food will rise during the standing time.
