You can convert recording from signal recorded on the original tape to different signal.
1Connect the RCA Audio/Video cable to input on the front of the main VCR
2Insert the tape to record.
3Connect the other end of the RCA Audio/Video cable to output connectors of another sub VCR (see page 40).
4If you wish to convert from NTSC system signal recorded tape to PAL system signal, then insert the playback tape recorded NTSC system signal into the sub VCR, which can playback NTSC system.
5Press the INPUT button on the remote control to select the L1 input.
Result: The display panel shows L1.
6Press the PAL output button on the front panel to select the PAL system.
Result: The display panel shows the output system selects PAL.
7Press the PLAY button of the sub VCR.
8Press the REC button of the main VCR.
Result: 
appears on the display panel, and recording starts.
