Setting Abbreviated Dialing

To activate this feature:

1.Press to access the main menu.

2.Select Settings.

3.Select Others.

4.Select Abbrev. Dial.

5.Select Ph. Book Match.

6.Select Enable.

To set your prepend number:

1.Follow steps 1-4 above.

2.Select Prepend.

3.Select Enable.

To deactivate this feature, select Disable during step 3 above.

4.Select Prepend#.

5.Enter a five- or six-digit number (for example, an area code and prefix) and press OK (left softkey).

Tip: To dial the prepend number, see “Using Abbreviated Dialing” on page 22.

Note: This setting does not apply to 911 or Directory Assistance.
