Setting Your Phone’s Mode
This option allows you to control your roaming experience. You can choose to stop using the phone in analog mode permanently or you can choose to use the phone in analog mode for the duration of your call.
To select possible settings:

Sprint
Automatic— Your phone will roam when your phone is outside Sprint PCS Network area. (Default is Automatic.)
Analog— Y our phone will work only on analog cellular networks. This setting will not be saved when the phone is turned off and then back on again.
