SERIES RECORDING

Using 2 VCRs or more, the series recording function lets you switch recording from one unit to the next (only with VCRs of the same model as this one).

Series Recording Setup

Operation

The output signal at theTAPE END OUT terminal will be present either at the point when the counter reading is 3H 00M 00S or when VCR No. 1 reaches the end of the tape, whichever is first.

œ Connect 2 VCRs or more as illustratedWhen this signal is receivedbelowby.VCR No. 2, it will start recording.

When the tape end is reached, operation is then carried

Loop recording

œConnect the outputTAPE END fromOUT terminalthe of the last VCR to theSERIES IN terminal of the first VCR.

œThe“TAPE END MODE” in (GENERAL SET) menu should be set to “REW” for all units without fail.

4 Set the security lock on VCR No.1.
	œ In loop recording mode, the tape will
		over. If you need to keep the recorde
		please eject the tape after recording
		insert a new tape.
