EXPOSURE CORRECTION
When capturing images, you can make the image lighter or darker.
1Set the camera to the EXPERT
shooting mode (see page 94), and
exit the Shooting Setting Screen or
Shooting Information Screen (see
page 115).
œPress the MENU button to exit the
Shooting Setting Screen or Shooting
Information Screen.
2Press [Â] or [Ã] on the arrow
button.
œThe exposure correction bar appears.
œAt this point, you can press [Â] or
[Ã] on the arrow button to adjust the
exposure.
HINT
œExposure correction setting is canceled in the following cases:
When the pointer is set to the center position.
After the shooting mode is changed.
When the BASIC mode is set.
When the selector dial is set to [Ô].
When the camera is set to the playback mode, the PC camera mode, or
the PC connection mode.
After the power is turned off.
œThe exposure setting numerical value is shown at the left end of the
exposure bar. The exposure can be set to a value from –1.8EV to +1.8EV
(AE shift sequential: the standard exposure can be set within a range of
–0.6EV to +0.6EV).
œWhile exposure correction is active, the accessing indicator in the
viewfinder flashes green.
œYou can also correct the exposure by selecting the exposure correction
icon Ê on the Shooting Setting Screen.
