SETTING THE EXPOSURE CONTROL
Í: This allows you to set a specific shutter speed and aperture size.
(Manual exposure control)
Example: When shooting in a dark location without using the flash,
set the shutter to stay open for a longer time (slow
shutter). When used for shooting nighttime scenes, you
can capture lights flowing across the image.
3Press the SET button.
œThe screen corresponding to the
exposure control mode selected in
step 2 appears.

œThe setting changes to aperture and
shutter variable program AE, and
you are returned to the Shooting
Setting Screen.

œThe display to set the aperture size
appears.
œPress [j] or [l] on the arrow button
to set the desired aperture size.
Tele: 4.9 to 11.8
Wide: 2.7 to 6.7

œThe display to set the shutter speed
appears.
œPress [j] or [l] on the arrow button
to set the desired shutter speed.
Setting range: 16 sec. to 1/2500 sec.
