command. It should not be included with print

 

job commands.

There is no default for this command.

Command Function

To adjust the label sensor for unique media and ribbon com- binations.

Input to Printer

<ESC>CI2 <ESC>CA <ESC>Z

Printer Output

There is no printer output for this command. It will cause the printer to feed a label while the characteristics of the label backing or eye-mark are measured.

Special Notes

1.The sensor is calibrated for the currently selected sensor type (Eye-Mark or Transmissive).

2.If the Sensor is disabled with a <ESC>CI0 command, no calibration is performed.

3.The sensor must be re-calibrated whenever the sensor type is changed.

4.When calibrating the sensor for the CX Series TT Ther- mal Transfer unit operating in the thermal transfer mode, the ribbon must be installed in the printer.
