SMART VOLUME CONTROL (ALSO CALLED “AUTOMATIC PUNCH THROUGH”)
The EVOLUTION 50/55 is preprogrammed with Smart Volume Control already enabled. As such, when
you press the + or MUTE buttons on the EVOLUTION 50/55, it adjusts the volume of your TV from any mode. Better still, Smart Volume Control works out of the box even before you assign devices to the other mode buttons.
A BUILT-IN EXCEPTION TO SMART VOLUME CONTROL FOR AV RECEIVERS
If your home theater setup includes an AV receiver and you assign it to the AVR button, the EVOLUTION 50/55 will automatically give your AV receiver priority for volume control when it is operating in AVR mode.
If you press the volume keys while in any other mode, Smart Volume Control will continue to adjust the volume at your TV.
