RESTORING EVOLUTION 50/55 TO ORIGINAL FACTORY SETTINGS
If you wish to restore your EVOLUTION 50/55 to its original factory settings:
1.Press and hold together the 
button, DVD button, and ENTER button for 3 seconds
2.All 6 mode buttons will light up, briefly stay lit, and then turn off. These buttons are:
, DVR , AVR , DVD , STB , and AUX .
Your EVOLUTION 50/55 is now restored to its original factory settings and ready for new programming.
UNDERSTANDING THE DEFAULT BACKLIGHT COLORS
AND CHANGING THEIR ASSIGNMENTS
The color of the backlight acts as quick indicator of the mode your EVOLUTION 55 remote is currently operating in. By default, the blue backlight represents those operating modes that make broadcast sources of content available: TV and Satellite/Cable. For all other modes, the default backlight is amber. You can override these settings and assign either color to any mode of operation.
