Default Backlight Color Settings

The EVOLUTION 55 backlight displays in blue when it is operating in | or STB mode (STB |
stands for “set top box” and refers to your satellite or cable box). The EVOLUTION 55 backlight displays in amber when it is operating in any of the following modes: DVR , AVR (Audio/Video Receiver), DVD , or 
FOR EVOLUTION 55 ONLY: Assigning Backlight Color Settings
To assign a different color to an operating mode, follow the instructions below. In this example, the operating mode is TV (the same steps apply for DVR , AVR , DVD , STB , and AUX ) and we assume you are starting out with the original factory settings:
1.Press and hold together the 
button and LIGHT button for 3 seconds.
2.As you begin pressing both buttons, the blue light immediately displays.
3.After 3 seconds, the color of the light changes to amber.
Now TV mode is indicated by an amber light. The other default blue light setting, STB , remains blue until you assign it to amber. All other modes remain backlit by amber until you change their assignments.
