with Windows® 20 00 and XP or M ac OS® X 10.2 or late r.
Install the software before connecting the SLP printer to your computer.
Installing the Smar t Label Program for Mac OS X
1 Inse rt the Smar t Label CD. If the i nstaller does not appear autom atically, double -click
the CD on your desk top or in the l eft pane of a new Finder window.
2 Doub le-click the file SIISma rtLabelPrinter.mpkg. The in staller will a ppear. Follow the
on-screen instr uctions.
3 For M ac OS X 10.2: Afte r installatio n is complete, ope n Print Centre and se lect your SLP
printer. Mac OS X 10.3 or 10.4 will automat ically set up you r printer.
Installing the Smar t Label Program for Windows
1 Inse rt the Smar t Label CD. The in stallation wiza rd starts automa tically on mos t systems.
If the introductory screen doesn’t app ear after a few se conds, continu e with the
following steps.
2 Click the Windows Star t button then point to Settings and choose Control Pane l.
3 Doub le-click Add /Remove Programs th en click the In stall button. Fol low the install
wizard to assist w ith installat ion.
