Store the stations in memory, in order, starting with preset channel 1.
Within 5 seconds, press the
MEMORY button to store that
station in memory.
If the preset number indicators go out before the station is memorised, repeat the operation from step 2.
Repeat steps 1 - 4 to set other stations, or to change a pre- set station.
When a new station is stored in memory, the station previously memorised will be erased.
Within 5 seconds, press the PRESET ( select the preset channel number.
Perform steps 1 - 3 in "Tuning" on page 18.

Memorising a station

TThis may be operated only with the remote control.

You can store 30 AM and FM stations in memory and recall them at the push of a button. (Preset tuning)

Note:

The backup function protects the memorised stations for a few hours should there be a power failure or if the AC power lead dis- connected.

To recall a memorised station

TPress the PRESET (Listening to a cassette tape or Manual background) button to select the desired sta- tion.

Listening to a cassette tape

Before playback:

For playback, use normal or low-noise tapes for the best sound. (Metal or CrO Manual background tapes are not rec- ommended.)

Do not use C-120 tapes or poor-quality tapes, as Manual background

zthey may cause malfunctions.

Before loading a tape into the cassette compart- ment, tighten the slack with a pen or a pencil.
