Introduction

Inserting the Batteries

1 Pull down the tab on the cove r and remove the
cover towards the directi on of the arrow.
2 Insert the batteries.
Insert the batteries mak ing sure the polarities c orrectly match
the m and n marks inside the batter y compartment.
3 Insert the lower tab of t he cover into the openin g,
and lower the cover until it c licks in place.
Incorrect use of the bat teries may cause them to leak or exp lode.
Please follow the precautions below

Caution

Danger of explosion if batter y is incorrectly replac ed.
Replace only with alkaline or manganese batteries.
Insert the batteries mak ing sure the polariti es correctly match the m an d n marks inside the batte ry
compartment.
Batteries of different t ypes have different p roperties, therefo re do not mix batteries of d ifferent types.
Do not mix new and old batteries.
This may shorten the life of new bat teries or may cause old bat teries to leak.
Remove the batteries from the re mote control once they have ru n out, as leaving them in ca n cause them to leak.
Battery fl uid from leaked batteries is harmful to skin, t herefore ensure you wipe them fi rst and then
remove them using a cloth.
The batteries included wi th this projector may run d own in a short period, d epending on how they are ke pt.
Be sure to replace them as soon as po ssible with new batter ies.
Remove the batteries from the re mote control if you will not be us ing the remote control for a lo ng time.
Comply with the rules (ordina nce) of each local gover nment when disposi ng of worn-out batteri es.

Usable Range

The remote control can be used to co ntrol the
projector within the ranges s hown in the
illustration.
Another remote con trol sensor is lo cated
on the rear of the proj ector.
The signal from the remote control c an be
refl ected off a screen for easy operation.
However, the effective distance of the signa l
may differ depending on the s creen material.
Note
When using the remote control
Ensure that you do not drop it or expose it to
moisture or high temperature.
The remote control may malfunction unde r a
fl uorescent lamp. In this case, move the
projector away from the fl uorescent lamp.
