Connections
Connecting the Projector to Other Equipment
Before connecting, ensure that the power cord of the projector is unplugged from the AC outlet
and turn off the equipment to be co nnected. After making a ll connections, turn on th e projector
and then the other pieces of equi pment. When connecting a c omputer, ensure that it is the last
equipment to be turned on afte r all the connections are ma de.

IMPORTANT:

Ensure that the appropriate input mode has b een selected on the projector before

you turn on the connected equipment.

For more details of connection and cabl es, refer to the operation manual of the conn ecting equipment.
You may need other cables or connectors not li sted below.

Depending on specifi cations of equipment or the DVIÙHDMI digi tal cable, the signal tran smission
may not work property. (The HDMI s pecifi cation does not support all connectio ns to equipment that
has digital output termina l using a DVIÙHDMI digital cable.)

projector. Use with computer signals oth er than those listed may cause s ome of the functions to not
work.
A Macintosh adaptor may be required for us e with some Macintosh compu ters. Contact your nearest
Macintosh Dealer.
Depending on the co mputer you are usi ng, an image may not b e projected unl ess the
computer's exter nal output por t is switched on (e.g. P ress “Fn” and “F5” key s
simultaneously when using a SHARP notebook computer). Refer to the specifi c instructions in
your computer's operation manual to e nable your computer's exter nal output port.
