6 Closed Caption

This function is available for NTSC 3.58 and 480I
signals.
This function is available in the fol lowing cases
only:

“Closed Caption” is a system which all ows
conversations, narration, and so und effects in TV
programs (Limited regions) and h ome videos to
be viewed as captions on the scree n.
Not all programs and videos will of fer closed
captioning. Please look for the symbol to
ensure that captions will be shown.
Two channels are available: CC1 and CC2.
The Closed Caption letters of this p rojector are
displayed in black and white.

CC1 Closed Caption mode for CH1 data
CC2 Closed Caption mode for CH2 data
Closed Caption may malfunction (white blocks,
strange characters, etc.) if signal c onditions are
poor or if there are problems at the b roadcast
source. This does not necess arily indicate a
problem with the projector.
If any button is pressed to call up the o n-
screen display while viewin g a Closed Caption
broadcast, the closed captions will disappear.
