Digital Quick Zoom

(Extend Zoom)

The digital quick zoom function allows you to quickly zoom in on a subject. This is useful when you want to instantly capture a particular subject.

Using Digital Quick Zoom

1 Press the MENU button until appears (Camera mode).

2 During recording, press the EXTEND button (C).

•The zoom range indicator appears and the subject is instantly magnified.

To cancel Digital Quick Zoom

Press the EXTEND button again.

Notes:

•The picture quality decreases when the Digital Quick Zoom is used.

•The Digital Quick Zoom cannot be used in the digital zoom range or together with the STRETCH or SLIM EFF. picture effects.

Setting the Digital Quick Zoom Ranges

1 In Recording Standby mode, press the

MENU button until(MENU 1) appears.

			button (Q) to select
	“EXTEND”, then press the SET button
	(B) (W) to select “2”, “4”, or “ALL”.

3 Press the DISPLAY button to turn off the menu screen.

•When “ALL” is selected, each time you press the EXTEND button (C) during recording, the zoom range changes as shown.
