z Video recording mode employs Pan Focus (focus is fixed).

z If the distance between the camera and the subject is 30cm to 50cm, press the

button to set the close-up mode. (The icon is displayed in the left of the color LCD monitor.)

z It is possible to use the digital zoom during recording (P.64). z It is possible to change the white balance setting (P.50 - 52).

WARNING !!

ξThe camera’s operation sound might be recorded while shooting the movie.

ξThe available recording time is dependent on the size of the SD card used. It is also possible that recording might be terminated during shooting due to the capacity of the card in use.

ξThe maximum recording data size for one movie shoot is 2GB. The recording will be terminated automatically when the recording data size exceeds 2GB.

ξThe recording will be terminated when the battery power is insufficient.

ξThe remaining time display might not change constantly because it is calculated from the capacity of the card while shooting.

ξThe remaining time display can show a maximum of 99 min. 59 sec. If a large capacity card is used, the remaining time counter will not change from 99:59 until the recording time is 99min: 59 sec. or less.

ξCustom white balance cannot be captured in Movie Mode. If you wish to use custom white balance, please capture it in still image mode and then change the camera back to Movie Mode.

How to playback movies.

When movie playback is selected, the first one frame of the movie is displayed as a still picture. The control icons are displayed on the bottom right of the movie playback screen.
