DIGITAL ZOOM

The DP1 camera is equipped with a digital zoom function.

TO SET DIGITAL ZOOM

Press the button to open [ Shooting Menu].

Use the buttons to select [Digital Zoom] and press the button.

Select [On] by using the buttons.

Press the button or the button to apply the setting or the button to close the sub-menu without making any changes.


Press	to increase magnification or	to decrease

magnification.

Digital zoom can magnify the subject up to 3 times in 8 steps.

This function is availale in still image and movie modes.

ξIt is possible to enlarge or reduce the size of the subject during the movie shooting.

To disable the digital zoom, please select [Off] in step 3.

The digital zoom function cannot be used when RAW mode is selected.

ξIf RAW mode is selected, the digital zoom will temporarily disable. If another image quality mode is selected, the digital zoom will reactivate.

ξIncreasing the magnification of the digital zoom will reduce the image resolution negatively.

ξIncreasing the magnication of the digital zoom will also increase the possiblity of blur caused by camera shake.

ξThe digital zoom function cannot be used when the camera is in MF mode.
