ATA AND TRUE IDE REGISTER DECODING

SiliconDrive EP can be configured as either a a memory-mapped or an an I/O devices. As noted earlier, communication to and from the drive is accomplished using the ATA Command Block.

TASK FILE REGISTER SPECIFICATION

The Task File registers are used for reading and writing the storage data in the SiliconDrive EP. The decoded addresses are as shown in the following table.
