CONFIGURACIONES DEL INTERRUPTOR DEL MOTOR

Los motores de dos tensiones (motores que pueden operar tanto a 115 como a 230 voltios) vienen configurados de fábrica a 230 voltios. No cambie la configuración de tensión del motor si la línea de tensión es de 230 voltios o si usted tiene un motor de una sola tensión

CÓMO SELECCIONAR 115 VOLTIOS CON EL SELECTOR DE TENSIÓN TIPO CUADRANTE

NOTA: Nunca conecte un motor de 115 voltios a una línea de 230 voltios.

SAQUE LA TAPA DEL MOTOR

Si usted tiene un motor de dos tensiones y lo conectará a una línea de 115 voltios, siga el procedimiento indicado a continuación.

Deberá sacar la cubierta del motor para cambiar la configu- ración de tensión.

La placa de bornes del motor (que se encuentra bajo la tapa del motor) debe ser parecida a la ilustración de la Figura 4.

Para cambiar a 115 Voltios:

1.Verifique que la corriente eléctrica esté desconectada.

2.Gire el cuadrante hacia la izquierda (en dirección contraria a las agujas del reloj) hasta que la ventana del cuadrante indique 115.

3.Conecte los cables conductores de potencia a los bornes conductores de potencia. Verifique que los cables estén bien fijados.

4.Conecte el cable de puesta a tierra al tornillo verde de puesta tierra.

5.Vuelva a colocar la cubierta del motor.

Pase a la sección de Conexiones de Cableado a continuación.

ADVERTENCIA Tensión peligrosa. Puede causar choques, quemaduras o muerte. Desconecte la corriente al motor antes de trabajar en la bomba o en el motor. Conecte el motor a tierra antes de conectarlo al suministro de corriente.
