STRAIGH T STITCHING
The str aight s titch i s the mos t frequ ently u sed sti tch for a ll type s of sewi ng.
1.To begi n sewin g, firs t raise t he pres ser foo t lifte r.
2.Pul l both th e upper t hread a nd the bo bbin th read un der the p resse r foot to ward th e
back of t he mach ine, le aving a bout 6” o f threa d.
3.Pla ce the fa bric un der the p resse r foot, t hen low er the pr esser f oot lif ter.
4.Turn t he hand w heel co unter -cloc kwise ( towar d you) un til the n eedle e nters t he fabr ic.
5.Sta rt the ma chine b y stepp ing on th e foot co ntrol ler. Gui de the fa bric wi th your h ands.
When re achin g the edg e of the fa bric, s top the s ewing m achin e.
6.Turn t he hand w heel co unter -cloc kwise ( towar d you) un til the n eedle i s in its hi ghest
posit ion, th en rais e the pre sser fo ot lift er.
