used si zes are : 11/80, 14 /90 and 1 6/100 . The sma ller th e numbe r is, the s malle r the

needl e size is . The larg er the nu mber is , the lar ger the n eedle i s. Use sm aller s ize

needl es for li ghter w eight f abric s and lar ger siz e needl e for hea vier we ight fa brics . The

Change the nee dle regularl y, especially if it i s showing sign s or wear or causi ng problems.

For best sewin g results, alw ays use SINGER b rand needles .

To insert a new needle , first turn the P ower On/Off & Spe ed Control Swi tch to the “off” p osition.

Loosen the nee dle clamp scre w.

Remove the old n eedle and disc ard it.

Insert the new n eedle, with th e flat side towa rd the back, as fa r up as it will go.

Tighten the nee dle clamp scre w securely.
