Checking the information on CD TEXT discs

CD TEXT discs contain information such as disc titles and artist names. This information is recorded in empty spaces that are normally unused on conventional CDs. The CD TEXT information of the disc appears in the display so that you can check the current disc tittle, artist name and track tittle. When the player detects CD TEXT discs, “CD-TEXT” indication appears in the display. If the CD TEXT has multi-language capability, “CD-TEXT” and “MULTI” indications appear in the display. Each time you press DISPLAY, the display changes as shown below.

If a title or name has more than 14 characters, the first 14 characters will appear in the display after the entire title or name has scrolled across the display once.

The title or name scrolls across the display. Then the first 14 characters will appear in the display.

Notes

Depending on the disc, the display may not show all the characters.

This player can display only the disc titles, track titles and artist names. Other information on CD TEXT discs cannot be displayed.
