Step 2: Charging the battery pack
You can charge the battery by attaching the
“InfoLITHIUM” battery pack (F series) to
your camcorder.

•You cannot use batteries other than the “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack (F series) (p. 99).
•Do not
•Use a nearby wall outlet when using the AC Adaptor. Disconnect the AC Adaptor from the wall outlet immediately if any malfunction occurs.

1 Slide the BATT (battery release) lever in the direction of the arrow as shown in the following illustration and remove the battery terminal cover.

2 Attach the battery pack with its terminal side facing your camcorder as shown in the following illustration and
press down the battery pack until it clicks.

4 Connect the power cord to the AC Adaptor.
5 Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
6 Insert your camcorder into the Handycam Station.
7 Set the POWER switch to (CHG)OFF.
