Deciding the still image quality
The NR slow shutter mode removes noise from recorded images, providing clear images. When the scene selection mode and shutter speed value are as follows, the camera automatically enters the NR slow shutter mode and “NR” is indicated next to the shutter speed indicator.

Press the shutter button fully down.
Then the screen turns black.
Finally, when “PROCESSING” disappears, the image has been recorded.
,Set the MODE dial to P, rotate the lens portion to turn on the power, then press MENU.
The menu appears.
•You can carry out this operation even when the MODE dial is set to SCN.
,Select (P. QUALITY) with b/ B on the control button.
Select the desired image quality with v/V.
The image quality is set.
After the setting is completed, press MENU. The menu disappears from the screen.
•For image quality, you can choose either [FINE] or [STANDARD].
•The image quality value selected here is preserved even when the camera is turned off.
•To eliminate the effects of vibration, use of a tripod is recommended.
