When [] is selected in the menu settings during a connection with a PictBridge compliant printer

Item	Setting	Description
PRINT 1 PAGE	OK / CANCEL	Connects the camera to a PictBridge compliant printer, and then print the image
		(page 44).

INSERT DATE	—	Attaches a date to an image to be printed (page 45).

The following menus are available no matter what position the mode switch is in.

When [ ] is selected in the menu settings

Item	Setting	Description
LCD LIGHT	xON / OFF	Selects the brightness of the LCD screen. Selecting [ON] makes the screen bright
		and easy to see, but also uses up the battery charge faster (page 21).

DISPLAY	xON	– Displays all indicators.
	OFF	– Displays warning messages, etc.

When [] is selected in the menu settings

CLOCK SET	DATE NOTATION	– Sets the date notation (page 15).
		x[Y/M/D] / [M/D/Y] / [D/M/Y]
	DATE&TIME SET	– Sets the date and time (page 15).

BEEP	xON	– Turns on the beep when you press the control button/shutter button.
	SHUTTER	– Turns on the beep when you press the shutter button.
	OFF	– Turns off the beep.

USB	xNORMAL / PTP	Switches the USB mode (pages 53 and 64).

A LANGUAGE	—	Displays the menu items, warnings and messages in selected language.
