Connecting Charger to Mains

Plugthe charger into a mains socket. The phone now
startsto charge the battery and you can see the battery
meterin the display move while charging.

Charging the Battery

Whenyou connect the charger to the phone, the bat-
teryis charged. When the battery is fully charged, the
chargingstops. You cannot overcharge your battery.
Whenyou are charging the battery you can use your
phoneas normal; however the charging time will be
longer.
•Connectthe charger to the phone.
•Connectthe charger to the mains.
Whenthe phone is turned on:
Theindicator will show a steady green light. To show
thatthe battery is being charged the battery icon in the
displayis filled and emptied continuously.
Whenthe battery is fully charged the battery icon in
thedisplay will show all three bars.
Whenthe phone is turned off:
Theindicator will show a steady red light.
Toshow that the battery is being charged the battery
iconin the display is filled and emptied continuously.
Whenthe battery is fully charged the battery icon in
thedisplay will show all three bars and the indicator
willshow a steady green light.
Changing the Front Panel
Itis very important that the phone always is used with
afront panel. This will prevent dust and dirt to get into
thephone which will reduce the phone’s functionality.

The Raised Front Panel Markings

Thefront panel has raised markings around the
left/rightarrows and key 5, in order to help you find
theright key on the keypad when
youare not able to see it.
Forinstance when driv-
ing.These raised
markingsmust be
facingup when
youmount the front
panel.

Removing the Front Panel

1.Lift the bottom of the front panel with your thumb
andpush it towards the display.
Becareful to not bend the front panel too much
sinceit may break.
2.Pull out the front panel from the phone.

Mountingthe Front Panel

1.Insert the top of the front panel into the two slots
abovethe YES and NO keys. Make sure that the
raisedmarkings on the front panel are facing up.
2.Hold the phone horizontally and drop the panel
ontothe face of the phone.
