Press the MENU button t select the (OTHERS) by turning the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial.CAMERA PROF. (Camera profile)

You can save up to 20 camera setting profiles on a “Memory Stick Duo” and 2 in your camcorder. Using these saved profiles let you quickly obtain suitable camera settings later. When using multiple camcorders of this model, you can save the setting on a “Memory Stick Duo” and load them into the other camcorders.

zTip

•The items that can be saved in the camera profile are set values of the menu, the picture profiles, and the buttons. You can save these set values all in the camera profile.

xTo save camera profile settings1Select [SAVE] by the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial.

2Using the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial, select [MEMORY STICK] to save the settings on the “Memory Stick Duo” or [CAMERA] to save the settings in your camcorder.

3Select [NEW FILE] or an existing profile name by turning the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial.

4Select [YES] in the check screen by turning the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial. The camera profile settings are saved.

zTips

•If you select [NEW FILE] in [MEMORY STICK], the profile name is [MS01] (when saving the camera profile for the first time).

•If you select [NEW FILE] in [CAMERA], the profile name is [CAM1] or [CAM2].

•If you select an existing camera profile as a destination, the camera profile is overwritten.

•A camera profile saved on “Memory Stick Duo” cannot be viewed or edited on a computer.

•You can copy a camera profile by loading the camera profile stored in your camcorder and saving it onto a “Memory Stick Duo.”

4Select [OK] by turning the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial, then press the dial. Profile name is changed.

x To load camera profile settings

You can load the camera profile settings and use your camcorder with the settings.

1Select [LOAD] by the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial.

2Select the camera profile, from which you want to load the settings, by the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial.

3Select [YES] in the check screen. Your camcorder is restarted and the selected camera profile becomes effective.

bNote

•You cannot load camera profile settings that have been saved by a different model of camcorder or edited on a computer.
