Basic Connection (Connecting Cable TV or Antenna)

Connecting Directly to Cable or to an Antenna

The connection you choose depends on the cable found in your home.

Newer homes are usually equipped with standard coaxial cable:

VHF Only or VHF/UHF or Cable

	75-ohm	VHF/UHF
	75-ohm

Older homes may have 300-ohm twin lead cable:

VHF Only or UHF Only or VHF/UHF
