Viewing images through a CD-ROM drive— Windows 98/98SE/2000/Me/XP

aStart up your computer and insert a finalized disc into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.

To view images on a CD-RW using a CD-ROM drive, the drive must support MultiRead. Consult the drive manufacturer as to whether your drive supports MultiRead.

This section describes how to view images through a CD-ROM drive using Windows Me as an example. The required operations may differ depending on your OS.

You can use the “ImageMixer Ver. 1.5 for Sony” software to view images on your computer. For details, see page 92.

bOpen [My Computer] and double-click the drive you use for the disc (Example:[MV_20030101(E:)]).

cDouble-click “DCIM,” then double-click the folder containing the image file you want to view.

dDouble-click the desired image file.

The file opens.

Copying a file to the hard disk of your computer before viewing it is recommended. If you play back the file directly from the disc, the image and sound may break off.
