About the character palette
During operations on the recorder, characters can be selected from the character palette in the display. The character palette has the follow configulation.

Editing recorded tracks

• You cannot edit tracks on an MD that is group names, and disc name. record-protected. Before editing tracks, close

• If you perform an editing operation while playing, editing results will not be recorded until you stop the recorder“TOCand Edit”

• Do not move or jog the recorder while“TOC

• When the group mode is on, editing can be performed only for the tracks registered into the selected group.
