Connecting an External Display
You can connect an external display to your notebook. For example, you can
use the computer with any of the following:
Computer display (monitor) (page 41)
Multimedia computer display (page42)
Projector (page42)
To connect a computer display
Use the symbol on the back of the computer to locate the Monitor
connector. Plug the display cable (not supplied) into this connector on the
back of the computer.
If necessary, plug one end of the display power cord into the display, and
the other end into an AC outlet.
When you connect an external display, you can toggle the display mode
between the LCD on your computer and external displays.
To setup the external display
1. Click the Start button on the Windows® taskbar.
2. Point to Settings and click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Display.
4. Click the Settings tab, then click the Advanced button.
5. Select the Display Device tab.
