Using the Sleep Timer

You can set the receiver to turn off automatically at a specified time by using the remote.

For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the remote.

STR-DA7ES

Use the supplied remote RM-TP1.

1 Touch RM SELECT.

2 Touch AMP in the RM SELECT screen.

3 Touch SLEEP while the power is on. STR-DA4ES

Use the supplied remote RM-LP211.

Select SLEEP from the RECEIVER menu.

Each time you touch or press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows:

2:00:00 t 1:30:00 t 1:00:00 t 0:30:00 t

OFF

While using Sleep Timer, “SLEEP” lights up in the display.

Tip

To check the remaining time before the receiver turns off, touch or press SLEEP. The remaining time appears in the display.

Selecting the speakersystem

Set the SPEAKERS switch according to the front speakers you want to drive.

AThe speakers connected to the FRONT SPEAKERS A terminals.

BThe speakers connected to the FRONT SPEAKERS B terminals.

A+B*	The speakers connected to both the
	FRONT SPEAKERS A and B
	terminals (parallel connection).
	The sound field is automatically set to
	2CH STEREO.

OFF	No speaker output.

*Be sure to connect front speakers with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms or higher if you want to select

both sets of front speakers (A+B). In this case, set the IMPEDANCE SELECTOR to “4Ω ”.
