7:Adjusting the speaker levels and balance
(TEST TONE)
You can adjust the speaker levels and balance while listening to the test tone from your listening position.
Tip
The receiver employs a test tone with a frequency centered at 800 Hz.

1 Press TEST TONE.
“T. TONE” appears on the display.
The test tone is output from each speaker in sequence as follows:
Left t Right t Sub woofer
2 Adjust the front speaker balance using the “FRT BAL” parameter (page 26).
3 Press SUB WOOFER LEVEL +/– repeatedly to adjust the sub woofer level.
Initial setting: 0 dB

•To adjust the level of all speakers at the same time, press MASTER VOL
•The adjusted value are shown on the display during adjustment.
4 Press TEST TONE again.
The test tone turns off.
Note
The test tone does not work when ANALOG DIRECT is selected.
