If the equipment to be connected has an S video jack

•PicturescanbereproducedmorefaithfullybyusinganSvideocable(optional).With thisconnection,youdonotneedtoconnecttheyellow(video)plugoftheA/V connectingcable.However,youneedtoconnecttheredandwhite(audio)plugs. ConnecttheSvideocable(optional)totheSvideojacksonbothyourcamcorderand the TV or the VCR.

•ThereisnosoundoutputwhenconnectingonlywithanSvideocable(optional).

To display the screen indicators on TV

Set DISPLAY in to V-OUT/LCD in the menu settings (p. 184). To make the screen indicators disappear, press DSPL/BATT INFO on your camcorder.
