If the ribbon breaks during use
The remaining ribbon can be used after repairing it with adhesive tape.
1 Pull out the lower ribbon of the blue spool, attach one edge of a strip of adhesive tape over the entire end of the ribbon, then attach the other edge of the adhesive tape on the end of the upper ribbon of the pink spool.

Removing the ink ribbon and paper
1 Remove the scraps of paper ejected and accumulated on the paper scrap tray.
Note
If scraps of paper have accumulated on the paper scrap tray, the front door may not open completely.
2 Pull the top of the front door to open it.
3 Push the right blue spool to the left and pull it toward you to remove the blue spool of the ink ribbon.
Operation
4 Wind up the loose ink ribbon.
2 Turn the lower blue spool in the direction of the arrow to remove the slackness of the ribbon.
Wind the spool in the direction of the arrow to remove the slackness of the ribbon.
The ribbon is ready to be used. Depending on the position of the break in the tape, the ribbon for one sheet of printed paper may be lost.
