Network and telephone lines cannot be connected to the Network (Ethernet) port on your computer. If the following connectors are connected to the telephone lines mentioned below, high electric current to the connectors may cause damage, overheating or fire.

-Home (intercom speakerphone) or business-use telephone lines (multi-line business telephone)

-Network lines such as 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 10BASE-T lines (depending on the model you purchased)

-Public telephone subscriber line

-PBX (private branch exchange)

-Lines other than those mentioned above

Do not plug a phone cable into your computer network port.
