Installation

INSTALLING AND CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK

The SP-514 is packaged with a rechargeable nickel-cadmium bat- tery pack. Before using your phone, you must install the battery pack and then charge it for 10 hours.

Press down and slide off the compartment cover. Plug the battery connector into the socket inside the compart- ment. Then place the battery pack into the compartment and replace the cover.

Note: The connector fits only one way. Do not force it.

To charge the battery pack, simply place the handset facedown on the base. The CHARGING indicator on the base lights.

Recharge the battery pack
