*If the disc is recorded with multi session way, the C.504 can read the files in first session area only.

*Variable bit rate (VBR) format is not supported.

Unfortunately MP3 playback function does not support following functions.

*CUE and CUE 1-3

*Flash start / Hot Cue

*Loop

*Search

*Reverse play

*Track memory

*Remain time display

*Time address bar display

NOTE:

Backward direction of the scratching can be performed up to 7 seconds.

Playing the MP3 file

1.Insert the CD-ROM which includes the MP3 files.

2.Pressing the TRACK SELECT button selects the MP3 file.

3.Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

Pressing and holding the SHIFT button then pressing the TRACK SELECT button skips the directo- ry.

NOTE:

Since the C.504 does not support the text display, the text information included in the ID tag is not displayed. File number is shown in the TRACK number area and directory number is shown in the parameter display. When parameter display shows the directory number, “DIR” is indicated in LCD screen.

3-13. Preset Menu

1.Pressing and holding the SHIFT button then using the Jog wheel selects the preset menu.

2.Select the desired preset menu then press the TIME/ENTER button, the LCD shows the preset menu and its parameter.

3.Set the desired parameter with the Jog wheel.

4.Pressing the TIME/ENTER button confirms the new parameter.

5.Pressing any other button exits the preset operation.
