5.Running The appliance
5.1Burning Wood:

•Wood burns best on a bed of ash
•Rake the embers evenly over the fire bed and open the
Airwash control fully for a few minutes before

5.7When the fire becomes established reduce the Airwash air control to approximately 25% open and control the burn rate using the Primary air control only.

•Open the Primary air control fully to establish a glowing bed before adding new fuel
•Burn new fuel at high output for a few minutes before adjusting the Primary air control to the desired setting
•Refuel little and often for clean, efficient burning.

5.10Do not burn large amounts of fuel with the Primary Air Control on low settings for long periods of time. This reduces the glass cleaning effect of the air wash and causes tars and creosotes to
