10-3 ASSEMBLYPROCEDURES

10-3-1FRONT BRACKET

Install the front bracket on the main bearing coverof the engine, engaging the faucet joint.

(See Fig. 10-27.)

M8 X 18mm bolt and washer assy -.***..-..4pcs-*.

TIGHTENINGTORQUE

-10.1 f t 9 Ibs.

10-3-2 ROTOR

1)Wipe off oil from thetapered portion of engine shaft and matchingtapered hole of rotor shaft. (See Figs. 10-28 and 10-29.)

Installrotor on theengineshaftand tighten the through-bolt.

Apply a wrench on the head of through bolt and

hit wrenchhandleclockwisewitha hammer to tighten. (See Fig. 10-30.)

If an impact wrenchis available, use it.
