Host/Operating Environment Rules

All hosts in a zone must be running Solaris 8 Release 4/01 operating environment with all appropriate patches installed.

Mixing PCI Dual Fibre Channel Network Adapter, PCI single Fibre Channel Network Adapter, and CPCI dual Fibre Channel Network Adapter HBAs in the same switch zone is supported.

Mixing hosts from different Sun server families in the same zone is supported. You must be using PCI Dual Fibre Channel Network Adapters, PCI Single Fibre Channel Network Adapters, and CPCI Dual Fibre Channel Network Adapters.
